Chynna Oliver

"While attending WMST, I had teachers who offered rigorous learning, educational guidance, and conducive environments in order to help every student succeed and soar. With the assistance of many dedicated  teachers, especially my favorite Ms. Brennan, I earned a special nomination into the National Honor Society and graduated in the top five of my graduating class. They challenged and advocated me to always strive for my highest potential; therefore, they prepared me for college and the real world. I will always cherish the supportive and devoted teachers and staff at WMST for transforming me into a better student and more diversified person."

Khadijah Mtewa Class of 2005

"When I think of WMST, I think of the diversity of the school's faculty, which reflects the rest of the world. Mr. Gilmore, the principal, went out of his way to take care of me from when I entered the school. WMST gave me the opportunity to join the Air Force JROTC program, through which I took a leadership course at Fort A.P. Hill and took an all-expenses-paid week-long trip to Hawaii. I graduated number four in my class and would like to work as a prosecutor because of my interest in the law and criminal justice."
