1. Instructional Coordinator needed for D.C. Charter School emphasizing Math & Science. The candidate will develop instructional matherials, coordinate educational content & incorporate current technology in Mathematics Instruction as well as will provide guidelines to teachers & administrators for developing curricula & conducting courses. Base annual salary: $61,568.00 Minimum Requirements:(a) A Master's degree in Education or related field; (b) Certification/license to teach Math in D.C.; (c) Experience in classroom teaching in Math or Math course design; (d) Must work full calendar year. 2. Sr. High School Math Teacher needed to organize class and instruct High School students in upper-level Mathematics subjects with seniority. Assess students’ needs and provide appropriate academic instruction. Establish and enforce rules and procedures for optimum academic results. Observe and evaluate students’ progress. Provide Instructional Coordinator with educational data and field experiences in assistance of the curriculum and instructional development. Organize collaboration with other math teachers to innovate the math education team’s instructional methods. Plan and conduct academic activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time. Plan and participate in professional and educational meetings for continuous development of instructional methods. Minimum Requirements: (a) A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Secondary Education, or relevant fields; (b) 2 years’ work experience in relevant occupations; (c) Meet the DC Highly Qualified Teacher requirements.
